So, one of the men a part of the historical 'Little Rock Nine' will be coming to my school on Thursday to talk about his experience of being one of the first African-Americans to attend a 'white' school. Initially, his appearance was only for 11th graders in a certain teachers History class, but, since I'm News Editor for my school newspaper, I get to cover it! I'm really excited to interview him and to learn about his story first-hand. Also, this is my first blog! Thanks, Kyrsten. :)
